How many crypto currencies are there?
More than 15,000 different cryptocurrencies are traded publicly, according to CoinMarketCap.com a market research website. And cryptocurrencies continue to proliferate. The total value of all cryptocurrencies on Dec. 10 2021, was about 2.3 trillion, having fallen off an all-time high above $2.9 trillion weeks earlier. The total value of all bitcoins, the most popular digital currency, was pegged at about $932.4 billion.
Google and Coinbase partner
Google Cloud and Coinbase have joind forces to accelerate the Web3 ecosystem by launching a new crypto payments pilot programme.
The collaboration involves Coinbase building their global data platform on Google Cloud and Google Cloud leveraging Coinbase Commerce to enable crypto payments for its solutions.
